I've got it sitting on the counter, ready to give it a test, first on regular A/C, then once I know it works, I'll test it on my inverter. It was $129 (discounted from $159) but at $2 and $3 for a bag of ice, this will surely pay for itself, probably in the first month of travel.
Ok, waited a couple hours, and plugged it in, and filled it with water...
It's making ice right now on the inverter! I have a 1000W Inverter left over from one of my Fathers boats, on one of my Nautilus Depp Cycle Batteries. At first, it didn't work, but I replaced my tiny wires with a set of booster cables, and it's working fine now. :)
