When I was 19, I spent 10 months hitch hiking across Canada, twice...
I went from Toronto to Vancouver, back to Toronto, then out to the Okanogon Valley, up the Alaska Highway, then back to Toronto,
Cindy, who I met, and married in Houston, Texas, has never been to western Canada.
Because we are both not working, and although we have health issues which limit what we can do, we feel that if we can, we should make the trip. The longer we wait to do so, the less likely we'll be able to do it.

The Plan
Well, I guess I may as well start planning, and what better way to remember things, than to blog about them here.
We are a couple, I, Rod turn 55 in 2 weeks, and Cindy turns 53 in 2 days. I've been off work since April 2014 due to medical issues. Cindy hasn't worked for many years due to medical issues Currently we are both awaiting the results of our applications to Ontario Disability.
This road trip will only occur once our applications have been approved, so we're keeping our fingers crossed!
